Chicken Nugget DIY Lunchable!

Today I decided to make DIY chicken nugget lunchables for my elementary school kids. They have a microwave in the cafeteria to reheat lunch in. DIY lunchables are so quick and on a Sunday I need something quick for lunch Monday. We usually are very busy on Sundays at church and with family time. Here is my DIY chicken nugget lunchable.

Everyone has a customized DIY lunchable. They all have chicken nuggets and ketchup in the mini dippers. They also all have grapes and apple Newton's. The boy has a clementine. The littlest girl has carrots, broccoli and a Baby bell. The middle girl has carrots. These were super fast lunches.

This is a DIY lunchable for the oldest girl. She has pepperonis, crackers, a clementine, grapes, broccoli, and sweet peppers. She also has apple Newton's. Lunchables are super easy to make and you can make a healthy version for your kids in a flash. Thanks for stopping by! See ya next time!

This lunch could be for an adult or just an older child who doesn't care for a decorated lunch. I made them for all four of my kiddos an I just know they will enjoy them. I also added a little notecard from Say Please to give them a little love today. Say Please sent me these wonderful Lunchbox Love notes to try and the kids couldn't wait to see what their card said. Twenty Minute DIY Lunchables For Four!

There have been a lot of DIY lunchables going around lately. I myself make my kids one every now and then. Especially when I am short on time or am running low on lunch mojo. Yesterday evening I needed a quick and easy lunch for today because I ended up pressed for time. I like to pack a DIY lunchable. This way they do not bug me to buy Lunchables. They really just like the idea of it and not the actual food. They don't eat half of what comes in those expensive little plastic bins anyway. So we opt for these instead and I know they are getting what they like as well as a healthier version. Here are our DIY Lunchables!

All four of the kids had custom Lunchables in our Easy Lunchboxes. Everyone has pepperonis, wheat crackers, organic chocolate chip cookies, and popcorn. The youngest girl took fresh organic strawberries and a cheese stick. The oldest took organic strawberries as well. Lastly the boy and the middle girl took grapes as their side of fruit.

These were so easy to make. Twenty minutes and lunch for four was packed. Try your hand at a DIY Lunchable. The possibilities are endless!

Five Little Monkeys and Friends!

Monkeys and pizza men are on the menu today. I even threw in a Winnie the Pooh lunch too! It was easy peasy to throw these together and they are super fun. I must say sorry for not posting a Dr. Seuss lunch this week. I really just drew a blank when it came to doing one. Maybe next year.

My youngest girl has monkey bread, grapes, cucumbers, broccoli and sweet pepper rings. Animal cookies and mini deli pretzels.

This is lunch for the boy. He has a pizza man, grapes and a clementine. He also has pretzels and two chocolate muffin rounds. The middle girl also had a pizza man.

This is lunch for the oldest. She took our Planetbox today. She has two peanut butter cinnamon bread sandwiches, broccoli, sugar snap peas, sweet pepper rings and grapes. She also has Annie's bunny mix, apple Newtons, and trail mix. I also slipped in a apple muffin heart. She sometimes snacks before lunch and this lunch is big enough for snacking.

A special thanks to my friend Grace from Eats Amazing for giving me the idea for the minion grapes. I hope you all have an amazing day!
Here is the recipe for my chocolate milk used in yesterdays lunch!

Homemade Chocolate Milk Mix (Powder)

2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
Just a pinch of salt

Mix all ingredients in an airtight jar(I used a mason jar). When ready to make chocolate milk dissolve a teaspoon of mix in a little warm water. This helps the mix to dissolve in the milk. Sit back, enjoy and be amazed at how yummy it is!

EasyLunchbox Love!

I have not seen this much snow and winter weather in Virginia since I was a child. The roads are covered in ice and it is a mess out there. We are on our second snow day for the week and the kids don't need a packed lunch for school. So I made a collage to showcase one of my favorite lunch boxes. The EasyLunchbox. These were just a few of our favorites.

I love my EasyLunchboxes and they are a kid favorite too! I hope you have all been enjoying my lunch post because I sure have enjoyed sharing them with all of you. I will be adding a new segment this week to the blog. The breakfast bento. These are easy and fun ways to get your kids the fuel they need for the day while on the go.

The Breakfast Bento!

Hello there! I have been getting request from my oldest daughter to make her a breakfast bento. She doesn't have a lot of time in the mornings and it is so early when she leaves she isn't ready to eat. She is a Junior in high school and her teachers are all onboard for letting the kids snack. I decided this was a great idea. A healthy breakfast can make a difference. It gives kids the energy they need to get through the day and make good grades. In preparation for our new breakfast bentos I ordered a set of boxes from Lunchbots. The set includes the uno, duo and trio boxes. These are the standard boxes for Lunchbots. They also now have a bigger box that is great for packing bigger meals for your kids and yourself. I also have three of the bigger boxes as well. These boxes are great! Here is our very first breakfast bento!

In this breakfast bento she has fresh baked blueberry muffins, honey roasted sunflower seeds and grapes. I used Duncan Hines Simple Mornings blueberry muffin mix. I love this mix. It is all natural and is made with only real ingredients. It is the perfect mix for when you don't have time to make them from scratch. The house smelled great. A house with treats in the oven is like heaven.

I will be bringing you a few special lunches this week as we celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday all week at school. The kids are all excited. Even the oldest wants a Seuss lunch! I will leave you on this note until you visit next.
