Minnie Mouse Lunches!

Last week while doing a little grocery shopping I came across a Mickey & Minnie sandwich cutter. I did a happy dance. I have been looking for these two cutters for months. I also came across Mickey, Minnie and Winnie the Pooh food picks while Christmas shopping on Amazon. I have wanted those for over a year and they are pretty hard to find in the states. So today I made three Minnie Mouse sandwiches in three different lunchboxes. I wanted to show you how a lunch with the same ingredients looks in different boxes.

This lunch is in a Planetbox Rover. She has a Minnie Mouse turkey sandwich, apples, cucumbers, sweet peppers, carrots, grapes and trail mix. She also has a Babybell cheese.

This lunch is in a LunchBots trio. This box is a bigger version of the original. There is a Minnie Mouse turkey sandwich, apples, grapes, carrots, cucumbers and trail mix.

This lunch is packed in an EasyLunchboxes box. This lunch has the same foods as the one above.

This lunch is packed in a Planetbox Shuttle. The boy took apples, grapes, pepperoni and crackers.

Here are the links for the above lunchboxes, silicone cups and food picks.

  3. I know how you feel - I'm always happy when I can find Mickey, Minnie, or Winnie the Pooh :) It's fun to see them in different boxes too!

  4. I really like the metal boxes! This shows how presentation can impact perception. Even though they're really similar, I think I'd go for #1 or #2 over #3. But of course, you didn't make this for me, so it doesn't really matter, does it?

    1. Well that depends on what your preference is when it comes to sustainable materials. I really have no preference. A lot of people like stainless over plastic. Stainless can be quite expensive while a good BPA Free plastic box can be quite economical. I have four children and make 4-6 lunches a day. So the EasyLunchboxes are usually my go to lunchbox. I actually love the EasyLunchboxes. (the plastic ones) They are very easy on the pocket book. I also really love my stainless boxes. I have several. They are the second boxes I go for. I also want you to know that even though these lunches are for my kids that I did in fact make them for you!

  5. That lunch looks gorgeous and I love the wee touch of the pink bow on Minnies head. All about those wee touches right? x

    1. Thank you and yes sometimes just a wee little touch goes a long way. It also makes these lunches very doable with limited materials!
